Among snow sports enthusiasts, the release of a new ski film by Warren Miller Entertainment signals the start of the season. In its 68th ski and snowboard flick, Line of Descent, the Boulder-based company focuses on the lineage of well-known athletes and the people and events that led them to their legendary status. “This season, we explore how skiers are shaped by picking up a pair of skis for the first time,” explains producer Josh Haskins in a press release. The film follows a multigenerational cast of winter warriors including 1994 Olympic medalist Tommy Moe and 28-year-old freeskier Lexi DuPont, among others, to locales around the globe as they seek the ultimate thrill.
