The Vermont International Festival has been celebrating cultures from around the world for a quarter century. Presented by the Vermont Performing Arts League, the event marks its 25th anniversary with a rich array of new activities. In addition to the annual marketplace of handicrafts, ethnic eats, music and dance, this year’s fest features an international fashion show presented in partnership with the Vermont Refugee Resettlement Program. It also spotlights the International Artisan Invitational, in which 10 crafters from Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe and South America exhibit their wares. Homecoming performances by past entertainers, including Bulgarian singer Vlada Tomova, round out the revelry.
