TURNmusic and Festival for Creative Pianists Present: Alexa Stier In Concert

Alexa is an internationally acclaimed pianist and recent PhD graduate from Yale University. She hosts a chamber music festival in her hometown in Romania, and is an avid new music advocate and performer. Alongside Debussy and Scriabin, the recital features selected Abundant Silence Composition Contest Winners. Though distinct in compositional language, each of these works share a strong affinity for idiomatic piano writing and a keen sensitivity to color, resonance, and gesture.
