n Saturday, the Young Novelists perform a concert in Brandon, a small Vermont town with a population that, according to the town’s website, “hovers around 4,000 residents.” The following week, the folk band plays in Toronto, a Canadian city with a population of nearly 3 million. This change in scenery makes perfect sense for a tour supporting In City & Country, the group’s new full-length album inspired by the similarities and differences between urban and small-town life. Fronted by husband and wife Graydon James and Laura Spink, the Canadian Folk Music Award winners take listeners on a musical journey at Brandon Music.
