'The Song of Sway Lake'

Music lovers: How far would you go to find the perfect record? Ollie, a jazz collector played by Rory Culkin in the 2017 film The Song of Sway Lake, is set on acquiring a rare album left behind by his deceased father. Ollie’s plan to steal the vinyl from his wealthy grandmother comes to a screeching halt when his accomplice, a Russian drifter played by Robert Sheehan, becomes infatuated with the matriarch. Shot on location in the Adirondack Mountains, the lush, dreamy and sometimes melancholy movie is shown by the Vermont International Film Festival as part of its Monthly Screenings series.
