Talk: 'The Soul Has Bandaged Monuments'

Experiencing trauma can change our biochemistry and behavior, producing PTSD. Contemporary neuroscience research suggests that through the making of art, individuals can recalibrate their biochemistry and cure their symptoms. This talk with Kensington Cochran at the Hood Museum, Dartmouth College, explores: challenging the definition of trauma, trauma as a physiological disease, and proposing different mechanisms of healing. Registration required.
