Revisiting an earlier program based on the exhibition of the same name, co-curators Morgan E. Freeman, DAMLI Native American art fellow, and Thomas Price, curatorial assistant, will draw upon Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy as an orator to reflect on works by Black artists and the specific relationships between Blackness and language.
