Brett Hughes has been a long-time collaborator in the Burlington, Vermont music scene, as a singer-songwriter, bandleader, and member of numerous local and regional bands. In 2005, he won a regional Emmy Award for soundtrack composition for Jay Craven's Windy Acres on Vermont Public Television and was voted Vermont’s Best Country Artist in the Seven Days Daysies Awards in both 2023 and 2024.
A seasonal celebration of Vermont’s incredible musicians, the Summer Concert Series has been serving up a side of local music to downtown Burlington at lunchtime for 14 years.
