Stride for Pride

What better way to get pumped for Sunday’s Pride Vermont Parade & Festival in downtown Burlington than with an invigorating 3.1-mile jaunt along the shores of Lake Champlain? Runners, walkers and those on wheels kick off the weekend with Stride for Pride, a 5K sunset excursion benefiting the Pride Center of Vermont. Back after a one-year break, the outing is open to all allies and members of the LGBTQ community, no matter their ability, sexual orientation, or gender identity or expression. As the saying goes: Work hard, play hard!
