In Season

Each year, as autumn's changing leaves color the mountains red, yellow and orange, more than 150 local artisans head to the Stowe Foliage Arts Festival. Taking cues from nature, eye-catching works bring bold colors to the Stowe Events Field, transforming it into a cornucopia of creativity. Paintings and pottery share space with woodblock prints and more at this open-air showcase of modern and traditional works by the state's top talents. Amid this arts-and-crafts extravaganza, live music fills the air while a food court bursts with locavore offerings and a beer tent serves up suds from Crop Brewery.
