Steven Yardley & Friends

Singer-songwriter, guitarist and storyteller STEVEN YARDLEY is a ubiquitous presence around the Burlington music scene. Whether he’s playing with indie-rock outfit the Pyros or bluegrass and folk band Sonic Steve’s Orchestra, or piloting his mobile stage, the Jammbulance, from site to site, Yardley is rarely far from the action. He does occasionally slow down just to play some good ol’-fashioned blues music — with a slide and harmonica, no less. He performs on Thursday, June 4, at Black Flannel Brewing & Distilling’s biergarten in Essex. He’ll be joined by a few friends for a set encompassing the very roots of blues, with some surprises thrown in for good measure.
