'Steal This Story, Please!'

Vermont International Film Foundation and Seven Days present Steal This Story, Please! at Main Street Landing Performing Arts Center in Burlington. The gripping 2025 documentary follows Amy Goodman, the American broadcast journalist, investigative reporter and host of news show “Democracy Now!,” as she dives headfirst into the most consequential issues of our time. Lucky viewers who nabbed tickets to Thursday’s sold-out shows are treated to a post-screening Q&A with VTDigger’s David Goodman, Seven Days consulting editor Ken Ellingwood and the film’s subject, who maintains that “Independent media is the oxygen of a democracy.” Amen to that.
