Through the years, AVA staff and artists have brought their dogs to the gallery to share their spaces, and from spring 2018 until his death in June 2019, a special rescue hound named Alfred touched staff and visitors here and through his Instagram account @alfredthehound. An exhibition celebrates his life and the lives of other dogs that touch us in ways great and small. In person by appointment and online.
