It’s just a jump to the left — and a step over Lake Champlain — to see Adirondack Regional Theatre’s production of everyone’s favorite counterculture creep-fest, Rocky Horror Show, at the Strand Center Theatre in Plattsburgh, N.Y. Buttoned-up couple Brad and Janet are in for the ride of their lives when they stumble out of a storm and into the queer and uncanny castle of Dr. Frank-N-Furter. Audiences should be prepared not only to sing along to fan-favorite musical numbers such as “The Time Warp” and “Hot Patootie — Bless My Soul,” but also to participate in the call-and-response that turns this play into an eerily interactive experience. (No props allowed, however.)
