Rick Ceballos & Lausanne Allen

Art on Main will host a lively afternoon of folk music and stories with musicians Rick Ceballos and Lausanne Allen on Saturday, May 9th from 3-5 pm. Along with sharing some great music and memories, Ceballos will sign copies of The Rising Steam, his self-published collection of folk tunes written over the past 50 years for banjo or button accordion. The book includes short vignettes of the inspiration behind each tune along with photos from throughout his musical life. The jigs, reels, and waltzes were transcribed by fellow folk musician, Lausanne Allen from Starksboro. Light refreshments will served.
