Red Bench Speaker Series: First Tracks Award Presentation: An Evening With Noah Dines

Struggling to meet your New Year’s resolution to reach 10,000 steps a day? Let Stowe skier Noah Dines inspire you. In 2024, he set the world record for the most uphill skiing in a calendar year: 3,590,097 vertical feet. That’s the equivalent of climbing Mount Everest more than 120 times, or an average of about 10,000 feet of elevation gain per day. At Vermont Ski and Snowboard Museum in Stowe, Dines accepts its 2025 First Tracks Award, honoring Vermonters under age 35 who have enriched snow sports in the state. After a short film about his achievements, Dines joins ski journalist David Goodman in conversation — and hopefully shares what gets him off the couch.
