Reading Is Golden Series: James Kochalka

Phoenix Books is delighted to welcome local cartoonist and author, James Kochalka, to Phoenix Books Burlington on Saturday, August 01 at 11:00 AM for a story hour to celebrate the Reading is Golden campaign! Starting July 18, Phoenix Books is partnering with Hachette Book Group on a campaign called Reading is Golden. The decline in the number of children reading for fun is alarming. Reading is Golden is built around a powerful call to action: encouraging adults to read with children for 10 minutes a day to inspire a generation of lifelong readers.
