Reading is Golden | Cat Viglienzoni of WCAX

Phoenix Books is delighted to welcome WCAX TV anchor Cat Viglienzoni to Phoenix Books Essex on Saturday, July 18 at 11:00 AM! Cat Viglienzoni is an evening news anchor and reporter for WCAX-TV. Cat graduated in May 2011 from Emerson College in Boston with Honors and a double major in Broadcast Journalism and Writing, Literature and Publishing. Cat has two children and cherishes reading and discovering books with them. Starting July 21, Phoenix Books is partnering with Hachette Book Group on a campaign called Reading is Golden. The decline in the number of children reading for fun is alarming. Reading is Golden is built around a powerful call to action: encouraging adults to read with children for 10 minutes a day to inspire a generation of lifelong readers.
