Presley, Perkins, Lewis & Cash

One night in 1956, Sun Records recording artists Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Jerry Lee Lewis and Johnny Cash gathered in the label’s Memphis, Tenn., studio for an all-night jam session. Their convergence is considered a landmark event for the genre of rock and roll and is dramatized in the Broadway jukebox musical Million Dollar Quartet. Performers from the show take the stage as Presley, Perkins, Lewis & Cash, an official tribute to the four musical legends. This high-energy revue treats fans to renditions of ’50s hits such as “Hound Dog,” “I Walk the Line” and “Great Balls of Fire,” as well as stories from each famed musician’s life.
