Peavine Whitewater Race

Whitewater paddlers from around the region will navigate the many Class 2 and 3 rapids of the White River along the route of the historic Peavine Railroad. The race begins at noon at the Route 100 bridge near Ted Green Ford and finishes 5 miles downstream at the Gaysville bridge. Many roadside pull-offs along the way have good views of the river for spectators. The race is hosted by Ridgeline Outdoor Collective (ridgelineoutdoorcollective.org) and helps fund their local outdoor recreation efforts.
