Nancy Jear Waples

The Morristown Civic Project is honored to host the Honorable Nancy Jear Waples, who has been serving as an associate justice of the Vermont Supreme Court since 2022. Justice Waples will speak about the judicial branch and its relationship with the other branches of government in Vermont, as well as discuss the Constitution as the foundation of judicial decision-making and writing. Help us celebrate our country's 250th anniversary by honoring the document that forms the bedrock of our democracy, and the important role that the judicial branch plays in our system of checks and balances.
