Montpelier Community Gospel Choir

The Montpelier Community Gospel Choir, with special guests Shidaa, presents their Juneteenth celebration led by new Artistic Director Dr. James Stewart. The concert will begin with classic selections by the Acapell Ensemble followed by exciting African drumming and dancing by Shidaa. The large choir will share high energy gospel music featuring songs by Hezekiah Walker and Kirk Franklin, along with new arrangements of old favorites like "i'm Gonna Sing" and "His Eye is on the Sparrow". There is something for everyone. The concert on the 14th will be followed by a reception with snacks and a silent auction (cash/checks only)
