'Midwinter Revels: A Scottish Celebration of the Winter Solstice'

New Hampshire nonprofit Revels North, known for providing year-round, all-ages programming celebrating the power of traditional arts, takes its final bow in December — but not before dazzling at Lebanon Opera House with three performances of “Midwinter Revels: A Scottish Celebration of the Winter Solstice.” The much-loved org raises the curtain one last time on the Tam Lin story, a centuries-old fairy ballad from the borderlands of Scotland, bursting with magical folks and female-focused bravery. This farewell production includes all the hallmarks that audiences have come to know and love, including “Lord of the Dance,” “Dona Nobis Pacem,” a mummers’ play and sing-alongs. So long, Revels.
