Michele Choiniere is an award-winning Smithsonian Folkways recording artist with a radiant, compelling voice. Her concerts transport audiences to another time of wistful cafe-cabaret culture and draw deeply from the rich narratives of French-Canadian history and culture. Michele's performances blend traditional Franco-American and Quebec folk songs, original compositions, jazz standards, and an occasional French classic. She is joined by master musicians Mary Rowell on violin, Will Patton on mandolins and bass, and Dono Schabner on guitar.
