Renowned for their raucous rhythms, stirring pipes, and madcap didgeridoo, Albannach brings a wild festive rumble year after year that’s somehow perfectly suited for Dog Mountain’s majestic vistas. The concert, as with all Levitt AMP St. Johnsbury shows, is free, accessible, and all-ages appropriate. Dogs are welcome!
Albannach is Scots-Gaelic for “Scottish” or “Scotsman.” Albannach is comprised of three Scottish-born musicians, one American-born Scot, and an Irishman. Not just another pipe-and-drums band, Albannach’s primal drumming, champion piping, and resounding didgeridoo stir the souls of all who hear them.
