They’re back! Còig, the Celtic acoustic powerhouse from Cape Breton Island, returns for another beautiful holiday show, which Lane Series audiences have come to adore as a way to welcome in the season. With a fiery style at its core, Còig easily shifts from the repertoire of past generations to original and upbeat compositions, featuring the band’s use of over a dozen instruments. With driving tunes, haunting songs, and infectious energy, Còig is an unparalleled musical force. Fronted by Darren McMullen and Rachel Davis, the band also includes Québécois guitarist/bouzouki player Thierry Clouette and iconic fiddler Margie Beaton.
