Just gorgeous music that is original, pure, and new. Ballaké and Piers create songs that blend West African rhythms and melodies with the traditional folk music of the British Isles. Malian master kora player Ballaké Sissoko was last on our stage with the French cellist Vincent Ségal for a sold-out concert in 2017. This consummate musical collaborator is now touring with the British singer/guitarist (and visual artist) Piers Faccini, and the songs they are creating together are an exquisite example of two disparate worlds coming together in a way that is moving and profound.
