For more than a decade, the Kelly Brush Foundation has been encouraging people with spinal cord injuries to live active lives. It helps them to buy adaptive sports equipment such as handcycles and monoskis. This year, the Burlington-based nonprofit’s largest annual fundraiser, the Kelly Brush Ride, offers folks a new way to pitch in. Supporters may spin their wheels on scenic 10-, 20-, 50- or 100-mile loops for bikers and handcyclists, or play a round of golf on the Ralph Myhre Golf Course at Middlebury College. Ambitious athletes can even register for both events.
