Kathleen Madigan entered the world of standup comedy on a whim. A former bartender, she worked next to a comedy club, where a spur-of-the-moment decision to participate in an open mic spawned a 25-year career. Now an award-winning comedian, the Missouri native has a lengthy and impressive résumé — from countless late-night television appearances to specials on HBO, Showtime and Comedy Central.
