On the Hunt
Jungles are pretty diverse places, featuring more varieties of flora and fauna than almost anywhere else on the planet. Fittingly, the music of Amsterdam’s Jungle by Night is composed of a wide array of sonic species, including dub, Ethio-jazz, funk and rock, all of which help inform the band’s searing brand of groove-heavy Afrofunk.
