Juneteenth Mural Project

Burlington City Arts and the Office of Racial Equity, Inclusion and Belonging are partnering on a public mural project in conjunction with the city's first annual Juneteenth celebration. The project seeks RFPs for murals that create space for reflection and rejoicing in the history, culture and resiliency of Black Americans, and that address the mural format as a tool for community learning. Mural locations include the City Hall alleyway, skate park at 92 North Ave., and 339 Pine St. Learn more and apply online. Deadline: April 23.

These community event listings are sponsored by the WaterWheel Foundation, a project of the Vermont band Phish.
