A native of Shelburne, Vermont, Judith Wright Battista began her musical career at Middlebury College before earning a Master of Music in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from Northwestern University. Notably, she had the privilege of working directly with celebrated pianist and composer Seymour Bernstein on his evocative bird study suites, one of which is included in her program along with works by Bach, Beethoven, Couperin, Rachmaninoff, and Ginastera. This is a free concert. Contributions to support Cathedral Arts are always gratefully accepted.
