And the sisters of Joseph — from America’s earthy folk capital of Portland, Ore. — are keeping the dream alive. Released last August, their sophomore album, I’m Alone, No You’re Not, continues and sharpens the trio’s emotional folk-pop mastery. Their intense harmonies blend in ways that are only possible from those who share the same DNA. Joseph headline a series of North American dates between runs with heavy hitters James Bay and Michael Kiwunaka.
