Johnny A. is a world-class, Boston-based guitarist. In fact, his skills are so legendary that both Gibson and Epiphone named custom guitars after the instrumentalist. Recently, he played a three-year stint with the latest formation of British blues-rock band the Yardbirds, which spawned guitar heroes Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck and Jimmy Page. For this performance, dubbed “Just Me … and My Guitars,” the singer-songwriter explores all the nooks and crannies of the 1960s’ Great British Songbook.
