It’s time to tease up your hair and your expectations, because JAM Pride Prom is back for a fifth year of LGBTQ fabulousness at Junction Arts & Media in White River Junction. An ’80s theme throws it back to the days of powder-blue tuxedos and bad braces, so break out those shoulder pads and get ready to bust a move. High school can be tough no matter the decade, but this evening of live music, dancing, photo ops and the crowning of gender-neutral prom royalty might heal some wounds. Whether you channel your inner Material Girl or rock metallic Hammer pants, the retro affair promises a substance-free high.
