Independence Day Parade and Outhouse Race

The Bristol 4th of July Committee invites everyone to celebrate America’s 250th Birthday with two days of family-friendly festivities in Bristol, Vermont. Thursday, July 3rd the celebration kicks off with food vendors, community activities, and Bristol’s spectacular fireworks display at dusk. Friday, July 4th the festivities continue with the annual Bristol Independence Day Parade, featuring community groups, bands, floats, and special guests. Visitors can also enjoy food vendors, family activities, live entertainment, the famous Outhouse Race, and many other traditions that make Bristol’s celebration one of Vermont’s largest and most beloved Independence Day events.
