Burlington City Arts welcomes 2026 with Highlight, the Queen City’s hope- and heart-filled New Year’s Eve party. The epic shindig spans venues from Vermont Comedy Club to ECHO Leahy Center for Lake Champlain, offering something special for everyone in the fam. Since 2018, this deeply creative tradition has enticed locals and visitors alike with vibrant music performances, arts events, food specials and unforgettable fireworks displays, reflecting the resilient and colorful spirit of the city. This year’s lineup chases away the cold with shape note singing, a Moth story slam, performances by Circus Smirkus and Good Clean Fun, and a music-filled Waterfront Fest complete with fireside s’mores.
