Maple syrup takes center stage when Gov. Phil Scott signifies the beginning of the year's agricultural crop with a traditional ceremony. Sweet treats and a maple food contest sweeten the deal. Festivities, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; governor arrives, 11:30 a.m.
