Local signal tweaker and sound augmenter Kevin Bloom and the Static Circus is deftly skilled in the art of sonic collage. His work is largely composed of AM radio samples, which are filtered and processed into beautiful oblivion. Additional analog sounds are layered atop these lost radio fragments, creating an alien, psychedelic atmosphere.
