Fiddler on the Roof, performed by The Central Vermont High School Initiative

The Central Vermont High School Initiative will present Fiddler on the Roof for its annual all-school musical, in conjunction with an interdisciplinary unit on displaced peoples. As they rehearse a classic work on the Jewish diaspora, students are learning audio journalism and cross-cultural literacy skills as they interview migrant farmworkers and African refugee activists, connecting these global diasporas to their impacts on the local community. Located on the Goddard campus, CVHSI is a developing member school of the Association of Waldorf Schools of North America and a Vermont Registered Independent School.
