Festival de la Voix returns to venues in Montréal’s West Island to celebrate the human voice in all its strength, beauty and variety. In three weeks of concerts, workshops and seminars, all-female quartet Musaïque invites audience members to join in on beloved Canadian and Québécois songs; Indigenous Atikamekw singer-songwriter Ivan Boivin-Flamand pours his heart into his own captivating folk tunes; and flutist Carolyn Christie discusses the psychology of performance anxiety among artists of all stripes. From opera singers to storytellers to an a cappella octet, the annual fête amplifies voices across ages and cultures in a glorious gala of sound.
