'Far Out: Life On & After the Commune'

Screening of "Far Out: Life On & After the Commune," followed by a Q&A with director Charles Light, commune resident Verandah Porche, and composer/performer Patty Carpenter. This compelling documentary traces the fifty-year journey of two New England communes founded in 1968 by members of Liberation News Service. Through intimate interviews and archival footage, the film explores communal living, organic farming, grassroots activism, and the anti-nuclear movement, including the story of activist Sam Lovejoy and the legendary No Nukes concerts.
