In “Famous Dicks Are Just the Tip of the Problem,” an online essay written during the peak of the 2017 #MeToo reckoning, comedian Eliza Skinner looked beyond Hollywood horror stories involving powerful men. Her incisive missive pointed out that harassment and degradation lurk around every corner for women in entertainment — whether from a “famous penis” or not. The Los Angeles-based comic is also an accomplished television writer, serving on staff for “Totally Biased With W. Kamau Bell,” “The Late Late Show With James Corden” and “Drop the Mic.” Catch Skinner Thursday through Saturday, May 17 through 19, at the Vermont Comedy Club in Burlington. During her three-day run, she’ll record a new live comedy album for Comedy Central Records.
