Montréal comic David Heti bills himself as “comedy’s dark philosopher.” And that’s not hyperbole. Heti has degrees in law and philosophy, disciplines that help inform his intellectually pointed, darkly comic worldview. He’s also a contributing writer to VICE and teaches comedy writing at McGill University.
