Such is the life of Jordan Bleyer, aka Michael Wavves. The Pennsylvania-based artist teaches social studies by day and makes dizzying hip-hop-infused dance-pop music by night. Inflected with mechanized beats and frosty production values, the artist’s sugar-glazed tunes blaze with affecting resonance — and likely score some major cool points with his pupils.
