Conti-Elliott-Reddix Trio

The Conti–Elliott–Reddix Trio presents chamber music in Peacham, Waterbury and Barton featuring Francis Poulenc’s beloved “Trio for Piano, Oboe and Bassoon” and “The Shepherd and the Shepherdess” by Hilmar Mückenberger, who got his start as a bassoonist and later gained fame composing novelty songs which he published on illustrated post cards. Also on the program: a jazz-inflected dreamscape by Korean American composer, HyeKyung Lee and timeless music by Padma Newsome and Thomas Kozumplik, two composers from the new music group Clogs. Vermont oboist Elise Conti and bassoonist Rachael Elliott are joined by Boston pianist Jonathan Reddix.
