On Friday, August 14, experience a special evening of the Central Vermont Chamber Music Festival with cellist Erik Friedlander. Block Ice & Propane is a vivid musical road journal inspired by American landscapes, memory, and motion. Drawing on folk traditions and personal history, Friedlander blends inventive cello technique with visuals by Lee Friedlander and Bill Morrison, creating a layered, reflective portrait of travel that feels both grounded and dreamlike.
