Catamount Arts marks its golden jubilee with dynamic festivities in St. Johnsbury. This major milestone gives pause for reflection on the nonprofit arts organization’s remarkable evolution, from its humble beginnings in 1975 to the sparkling hub of creativity it is today. To toast the special occasion, attendees enjoy three days of culturally rich programming, including a block party with an outdoor concert by bluegrass band Twisted Pine, an inspired reading by Vermont poet laureate Bianca Stone, a gallery reception celebrating local artist Elly Barksdale’s new exhibit, "on becoming," and a playful puppet workshop.
