Brooklyn band Baklava Express serve up their rich global fusion music at Next Stage Arts in Putney, where listeners are transported to the bustling streets of a Mediterranean open-air market. Through a unique blend of instruments — including the oud, a fretless Middle Eastern lute — the band weaves a sonic tapestry with threads of Turkish, Greek, Armenian and Arab traditions.
