Ashley Roark

The artist introduces a new body of work, and new direction, in her solo show titled “On the Dotted Line” at Burlington’s S.P.A.C.E. Gallery. Known for her collaged assemblages and minimalist palette, she has incorporated monoprinting and painting to produce more complex mixed-media work. “Roark sought out to learn the screen-printing technique as a way to broaden her knowledge of processes, with the goal of finding a new way of mark-making in her own hand,” explains gallery owner Christy Mitchell. The exhibit also includes expressive paintings and sculptures.
